That's a wrap up on the proceedings of today's WBBL matches. Don't go too far away as we will be back tomorrow with more WBBL action and all other cricketing actions from around the world across formats. For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Saptak Sanyal alongside scorer/analyst Paras Yadav. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodnight and CHEERS!
Charli Knott(Player of the Match)- "Definitely a very good start to the tournament. We have players who can step up and contribute for the team. If one fails, other steps up and that's a big advantage for our side.

I have worked really hard on my batting in the off-season. I had a simple game plan in my mind, I just wanted to place the ball correctly through the gaps. Honestly, I tried to hit hard right from the start.

Volley(Georgia Voll) batted really well throughout the innings to score runs for us. Her performance has been excellent today We are off to Adelaide tomorrow and let's see what is waiting for us in the later stages."
6:05 PM IST, 10:35 PM Local Time: Another solid win for Brisbane Heat as they keep their unbeaten run alive. They beat the Melbourne Stars Women by 13 runs to make it 4 wins out of 4. They have outplayed their opponents in all facets and while the Stars did a late rally, it was beyond their control. A bridge too far for them.

Chasing 151 on a tricky surface, the Stars lost wickets at regular intervals as none of the batters got stuck in. Alice Capsey was the exception as she scored 52 off 43 balls and top scored for the Stars. There was no support from her at the other end to be honest. Kim Garth in the latter half of the game and towards the end entertained us all with her 45* off 27 balls and scored her highest score in WBBL. She narrowed the margin of defeat as the Stars ended with 137/7 in 20 overs with 8 extras given by the fielding side.

All the bowlers bowled well for Brisbane Heat. A couple of wickets for Charli Knott, skipper Jess Jonassen, and Sarah Glenn as the spinners spun a web around the Stars batters. A wicket to Nicola Hancock as well. All in all, a good bowling display from the Heat.

Earlier in the game, Brisbane Heat Women were put into bat first by Melbourne Stars Women. Initiallt, Ellie Johnston was the star scoring 28 off 21 balls. Grace Harris her opening partner scored 18 off 17 balls. Georgia Voll held the innings together and scored an unbeaten 48* off 40 balls which was crucial for Heat. But the innings of the match was played by Charli Knott who scored a quickfire 31 off 14 balls to change the game completely. 9 extras given by the fielding side as Heat finished with 150/6 in 20 overs.

Annabel Sutherland was the pick of the bowlers for Melbourne Stars with figures of 2/19 in 4 overs. A couple of wickets for Alice Capsey while Illingworth and Kim Garth got a wicket each to their name. They bowled well but Knott took the game away from them. The batting was not upto the mark barring Capsey and Garth.

So, a win by 13 runs for Brisbane Heat as they make it 4 wins out of 4 and are now topping the points table. Stick around to see who won the Player of the Match award.
