A solid three-dimensional cricketer, Rhys Mckenna is a professional Australian cricketer for Melbourne Stars. A talented fielder who possess sound technique with both bat and bowl, she is regarded as a bright future prospect for the Baggy Greens.
After impressing for Victoria’s U-19 emerging performance squad, Mckenna was signed by Melbourne Stars prior to the start of the seventh edition of the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL). She made her debut against Sydney Sixers on October 14th, 2020 and picked up a wicket on her debut.
At the age of 18, Mckenna has established herself as a starter in the Stars squad and would be looking to cash on every opportunity presented to her.
