So, that's all from today's Zim Afro T10. We had three back-to-back games today and I hope you enjoyed our coverage. Thank you for staying with us. For now, it's time to bid adieu, I, Deepak Prakash am signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Saptak Sanyal, and scorer/analyst Zeeshan Naiyer. CHEERS!
Tom Curran(Cape Town Samp Army captain):- "I think each team has two games in the tournament days. We are happy to have two wins today. All the bowlers contributed well, sticking to the plan and we did a clinical chase. The wicket has helped our bowlers who hit the wicket really hard. I would've batted first but we bowled really well to restrict them at a below-par score and we chased it down really well."

12:39 AM IST, 9:09 PM Local Time: A comprehensive victory for Cape Town Samp Army as they thumped Bulawayo Braves by 8 wickets with 19 balls to spare.

After opting to bat first in the first innings, Bulawayo Braves were restricted to 86/6 at the end of 10 overs. Bulawayo got off to a solid start as both their openers, Ben McDermott and Kobe Herft, scored at a brisk pace and forged a partnership of 47 runs for the first wicket. McDermott (27 off 17) and Herft (18 off 9) were dismissed by Peter Hatzoglou in the same over, and this turned out to be a turning point of the game as Samp Army bounced back strongly and didn’t concede a single boundary in the last 34 balls of the innings and restricted Bulawayo to a paltry 86 runs.

In pursuit of Braves’ 86 runs, Samp Army didn’t get off to a good start as they lost Rahmanullah Gurbaz for a silver duck in the very first over, while Bhanuka Rajapaksa departed for a mere 8 runs. However, Tadiwanashe Marumani (43*) and Matthew Breetzke (29*)  took responsibility on their shoulders without any further hiccups. The pair forged an unbeaten 50+ runs partnership and helped Samp Army seal the deal with 19 balls to spare.

On the bowling front, Taskin Ahmed and Tanaka Chivanga were the only bowlers to extract a wicket each for Bulawayo Braves.

Stick around for the post-match presentation.

1 That's the winning run. Length ball, on middle and leg line. Pushed to mid wicket region to snatch a single. With this Cape Town Samp Army won the game by 8 wickets. A good result to boost their net run rate.
6.4 S Raza to T Marumani
0 Full, on off. Marumani missed to time it to on side. Dot ball
