With this win, Trinidad and Tobago are almost into the semifinals as they have won three out of three games. Barbados, on the other hand, has a lot to reflect upon having three consecutive losses. Let us take a leave but tomorrow, we will be back with yet another full of action, starting with India versus England Test, and then we'll be back with the live coverage of the Super50. Until then I Arjun Bhalla along with my co-commentators, Anurag Singh and Anurag Dasgupta, signing off! Good night!!
MoM: Jason Mohammed for his match-sealing century!
Arjun: This game has turned on its head, at least half a dozen times but in the end, the more deserving side has sealed the deal by three wickets and five balls to spare!! It all started with Kieron Pollard fifer at the end of the first innings when the TNT pulled the momentum on their side and they started with that very momentum in the chase too! They might lose an early wicket in the second over but Evin Lewis (61 off 47) and Jason Mohammed shared a stand of 117 runs to set a firm-solid foundation but when Lewis got dismissed the TNT got derailed off the track for a bit. Mohammed starting losing partners on the other end and TNT was five down in no time. Then came Sunil Narine (18 off 29) who stitched a vital 49-run stand with Mohammed brought TNT's train on the track and then Jason got a bit of assistance from Akeal Hosein (20 off 23). Jason Mohammed might get out on the last ball of the 49th over his anchoring knock of 122 runs off 160 deliveries made sure the game was a long-gone for the Barbados Pride.
49.1 Chemar Holder to Akeal Hosein
4 FOUR and Akeal Hosein drives the over pitched delivery through the gap between covers and extra cover for a boundary to seal the deal!!! TNT wins the clash by 3 wickets and five balls to spare!!!
W OHHHH MAN!!!! Jason Mohammed departs!!! Full ball on the off stump line and Jason Mohammed plays an uppish flick and miscues the shot and give the fielder at mid-wicket an easy grab
48.5 Jason Holder to Jason Mohammed
4 Outside off ball and Jason Mohammed drives it through the covers and FOUR PRECIOUS RUNS FOR TNT. They just need a brace more
