So, Pakistan coming back with a statement win! Bangladesh have plenty to ponder before they take the field for the series decider on Sunday. Both teams have dominated when they have won. The series is nicely poised at 1-1. A cracking game is on the cards on March 15.

For now, this is me, AkshayaKrishna Polya, signing off on behalf of my co-commentators, Ajay Pal Singh, Deepak Prakash, Dev Rajawat and scorer Ghanendra Singh Thakur. We will meet again. Until then, it is cheers!
Shaheen Shah Afridi (Pakistan Captain): "[What was the conversation with the team] I think in the last game, that did not go our way. We had good opening partnership and then back-to-back wickets. Same tonight as well but the message was clear, go and play your own game.

[On the pitch] This pitch is totally different. Whenever we come here, there was more spin. We feel, it will be helpful for pacers. That's why we brought 4 pacers. They bowled well, really happy.

[On things that they need to do better] I think losing back-to-back wickets after good opening stand. We need to improve on that as a team. Building a team for the World Cup, that's our game. Really happy for Maaz Sadaqat, the youngster had a really good game, the whole team is happy for him."
Maaz Sadaqat (POTM): "[On plans for this comeback] In the last meeting, it was told to us to play our natural game and that worked for us.

[On what he did differently] In the last game, it was my first game and there was pressure. I just followed my natural game and the god took care of everything else.

[On his bowling] Yes, I am a batting all-rounder. I have been working with our bowling coach and that has helped me a lot."
Player of the Match: Maaz Sadaqat
Mehidy Hasan Miraz (Bangladesh Captain): "(Difference between bowling in the 1st and 2nd ODIs) I think it was about taking advantage in the first 10 overs. The last match was excellent. We bowled really well. We didn't execute well today. We gave too many runs in the first 10 overs. The credit obviously goes to them. They played really, really well in the first 10 overs.

(About the run chase and the pitch as per the top order batters) Obviously, it was a very good wicket to bat on. We made a little mistake. The top order batters didn't get runs. It has been a problem. We need to look at these things moving forward.

(Areas of improvement before 3rd ODI) Yeah, definitely. We have to improve our batting unit. We have bowled really well. We made a great comeback with the ball. We need to focus on our batting unit. We have to take responsibility. If you don't get runs, then you won't be in a good position.

(His views on that controversial run out to dismiss Salman Ali Agha) See, he was just away from the wicket (crease). I was just looking for the ball. If I miss, he was definitely going to run. I just thought about it like that."
10:33 PM IST, 11:03 PM Local Time: We are ready with the post-match ceremony...
10:23 PM IST, 10:53 PM Local Time: Impressive comeback from Pakistan as they level the series with a thumping 128-run win in this rain-affected encounter via the DLS method. There was a slight blip with the bat towards the end of the innings for the visitors, but early wickets with the new ball and some fine spin bowling from Maaz Sadaqat helped them bowl Bangladesh out for 114 — the exact total Pakistan were dismissed for in the first game.

Earlier in the game, Bangladesh had won the toss and opted to bowl first again. The openers, Sahibzada Farhan and Maaz Sadaqat, gave Pakistan a splendid start. They added 103 runs in 13 overs before Sadaqat lost his wicket for 75.

Farhan fell soon after for 31. Shamyl Hussain failed again with the bat, scoring just 6 runs off 22 balls. Mohammad Rizwan and Salman Ali Agha steadied the ship with a fine 109-run stand for the fourth wicket.

Agha was dismissed in a controversial manner as Mehidy Hasan Miraz ran him out at the non-striker’s end for 64. That dismissal triggered a collapse as Pakistan were bowled out for 274. They were 231 for 3 at one stage.

Rishad Hossain picked up three wickets and Mehidy Hasan Miraz got two. Taskin Ahmed, Nahid Rana and Mustafizur Rahman all chipped in with a wicket apiece.

In reply, Bangladesh were rocked early by the Pakistan new ball bowlers. Shaheen Shah Afridi got two wickets and Mohammad Wasim Jnr got one to push Bangladesh on the backfoot as the hosts were 15/3 inside the first five overs.

The umpires took the players off the field due to lightning at the venue in the seventh over of the run chase. A heavy shower followed, along with hailstones, keeping the players off the field for over two hours.

The revised target for Bangladesh was 243 in 32 overs. Litton Das and Towhid Hridoy did give some hope to the hosts but with wickets falling at regular intervals, Bangladesh were bowled out for 114.

Haris Rauf and Maaz Sadaqat picked up three wickets each. Shaheen Afridi got two wickets, Mohammad Wasim Jnr and Faheem Ashraf got one apiece.
