That’s all from the final match of the T20I series between West Indies Women and Australia Women, folks! Australia Women completed a clean sweep of the three-match T20I series after winning this game via the DLS method. Both teams will now shift their focus to the 50-over format, with a three-match ODI series set to begin on Friday, March 27.

It's time to conclude this coverage. For now, it’s me, Deepak Prakash, signing off on behalf of my co-commentator, Akshay Bhide and scorer/analyst Sachin Yadav. CHEERS!
Australian skipper Sophie Molineux collects the trophy and joins her teammates to pose for the photographs.
Sophie Molineux (Australia Women Captain): "[How special is this?] Yeah, it’s really special. To come away with a convincing win tonight in what has been a closely contested series is very pleasing, and we’re really happy with that.

[Gain from the series?] Yeah, I think we’ve gained a lot from this series. We’ve learned a lot about ourselves as a team and have been able to adapt to different conditions, which will be important moving forward. All in all, it’s been a really positive series for us.

[What have you enjoyed about leading the group?] I’ve loved it — every minute of it. I feel so lucky to be part of this group of players and staff. We’re really coming together as a unit and exploring how far we can go as a team."
Hayley Matthews (West Indies Women Captain): "[Improvements from the previous series] Batting looked a fair bit off this series. But it is a matter of peaking at the right time in the World Cup. We bowled well in the first two games. Definitely, some areas we got better. But we have to see what we have to do ahead of the World Cup.

[On playing against Australia] They are definitely a great side. Number one in the world. They have world-class numbers from number 1 to 11. We were up for the fight. We wanted to come up against them and it has brought learnings to the young girls in the group.

[On the crowd] As I have said earlier, the crowd has been brilliant. This is the biggest crowd we have played in front of in the Caribbean. Hopefully, they keep rallying with the World Cup around."
Alana King (Player of the Series): "[What does this award mean to you?] Oh, I’m just very, very happy to be here and play my role for Australia. To get the opportunity to do it in a T20 series over here is something I’m really grateful for, and I’m pretty pumped about it.

[Advice for young spinners?] I think it’s about backing yourself, and having the support of the whole team behind you is just as important. When you’ve got the ball in your hand, you’re in control, so you’ve got to enjoy every moment. You know the batters will come hard at you and try to score boundaries, but you have to take that in your stride and embrace the contest. I love having the ball in my hand, and hopefully I can continue to make a big impact for the team.

[On contest with Hayley Matthews] Absolutely. Hayley is a great player, and we’ve played a lot against each other, both in franchise cricket and internationally. She’s a batter who can hit you to all parts of the ground, so it’s always a great challenge bowling to her."
Player of the Series: Alana King
Georgia Voll (Player of the Match): "[On her knock tonight] It was an enjoyable innings. One thing is that I'm not thinking too much when I'm playing my best. Enjoyed playing with the girls. Played with the fearless intent today and happy to get the win.

[On playing through the innings] I'm working on it. It showed the other night. Got out trying to do something extra. It was obviously nice to float a bit and set the innings up for a big total.

[Is this her best international knock?] It's quite right there. T20 international hundreds are hard to get by. Pleased to get it here."
Player of the Match: Georgia Voll
7:48 AM IST, 10:18 PM Local Time: That’s it! The match has been called off due to persistent rain at Arnos Vale Ground, and Australia Women have been declared winners by 40 runs under the DLS method. A complete dominance from the Aussies as they complete a clean sweep of the three-match T20I series.

Earlier, Australia Women posted a massive 211/7 at the end of their 20 overs, powered by a stunning century from Georgia Voll and a quick cameo from Sophie Molineux (25). After losing Beth Mooney early and Phoebe Litchfield for 15, Voll took charge, guiding Australia to 65/2 in the powerplay and bringing up a brisk half-century off 28 balls. She found support from Ellyse Perry, and later Nicola Carey, with whom she added a crucial 62-run stand.

Voll continued her dominant display, smashing her maiden T20I hundred in just 52 balls, finishing with a brilliant 101 off 53 deliveries. Australia accelerated in the death overs, adding 66 runs in the final five overs. For West Indies, Hayley Matthews (3/29) was the standout performer, but the bowlers struggled to contain the scoring.

In reply, West Indies got off to a shaky start as Megan Schutt struck on the second ball of the innings, removing Qiana Joseph for a silver duck. Australia maintained the pressure, dismissing Eboni Brathwaite (18) and Jannillea Glasgow (1) inside the powerplay to reduce the hosts to 33/3, with Ellyse Perry and debutant Lucy Hamilton picking up a wicket each in the process.

Deandra Dottin (14*) then joined Hayley Matthews (30*) in the middle, and the pair began a rebuilding effort. While they managed to hold their wickets, they struggled to score at a brisk rate and put pressure on the Australian bowlers. At the end of 10 overs, the hosts were 61/3 when rain arrived right after the drinks break, bringing play to a halt.

The rain showed no signs of relenting, and the officials were forced to call off the game. West Indies Women were 40 runs behind the DLS par score, resulting in Australia Women winning the match and completing a clean sweep of the T20I series.

Stay tuned for the post-series presentation.......
