That's it from our coverage of the third and final Test between Australia and South Africa from the SCG. Ninaad Dixit here signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Ayan Chatterjee and scorer Bishal Mandal. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world.
Pat Cummins (Australia Captain):"Just try a few things. The wicket was good. We were up against it. They had luck and did well to hold on. Probably up against it. 150 overs to take 20 wickets was tough. Lyon was great. He was trying so hard today. That's the most pleasing thing. Everyone contributed similarly to the Ashes last year. A little bit. Renshaw did not get a lot to bat. I thought Ash was good on an unhelpful surface. We will now look forward to the India series. Big series ahead of us.
Personally, I am happy with my performance and the conditions on offer today were similar to what we may get in India. Yes, the big six months are ahead of us. We have the India series then hopefully the WTC final and then the Ashes. So, potentially 10 Tests away from home in the next six months. It will define us as a side. Looking forward to it. Exciting times ahead."
Dean Elgar (South Africa Captain): "Its actually good to end the tour like this Touring Australia is never easy but obviously the message to the group yesterday was to go and fight out there and its going to help us in the future.
3 or 4 guys have toured here in the past. The rest, it was a brand new experience for them. I think the learnings from that is these guys might be playing here again in a couple of years time and obviously there are a lot of learnings out of that It has been a good experience for them. Lot of learnings from them. Australian conditions are one of the toughest in the world. Few negatives but happy with some positives including one today.
Test cricket teaches you that things are not going your side you can wake up the next day and fight hard. That's what its called a Test. It makes you better and its a rollercoaster. I am a captain but also the run scorer which hasn't worked out recently."
David Warner: "Yes, I think I spoke about that in Melbourne. The guys had a great series. We would have liked to get more runs, but credit to the bowlers for winning us the game. Credit To Nortje challenging us all the time. We didn't get the result, but cannot control the weather.
I think we tried our best. The South Africans are a quality side and they fought as we expected. But we are happy to win the series 2-0 and will take the draw any day. Yes, their big series coming ahead in India. They are a quality side over there. WTC points are up for grabs. Hope to win a couple of matches and win the series as well. Happy with the effort."
David Warner is the player of the series.
Usman Khawaja: "Yes and no. I have really enjoyed my career and the ups and downs. Cricket is a great mental game. It has been tough at times and very rewarding at times. Just enjoying the good times at the moment. Patience, it can be a grinding wicket, slow wicket out there. Spin's always in the game so you need to have your options against spin. Its not rocket science if you bat well and give enough time, you will usually succeed out there.
I'd love to have a double ton next to my name but at the end of the day its about the way to showcase what cricket is about. You wanna go there you wanna make milestones, achieve certain goals but at the end of the day its about winning. Any children watching out there anyone watching how Australia plays their sport, its team first and its really important coz you are playing a team game.
We won 2-0 this series. This is the first time I have won a series against SA. We drew a series first time I played against them, lost the next 2 series, went home Its always a tough team to beat. So its a really special thing for me. Credit to them they played some very good cricket, they have got some amazing players in the team. Mostly I enjoyed the game the way it was played, the spirit in which the game was played. We definitely had some tough times last tour both on and off the field and I think credit to both the teams the way the guys played. That's a great memory I'll take away from this Test."

Time for the presentation ceremony.
Steven Smith:"Not sure we tried a lot. There were a few umpire calls and a few half chances we didn't take. It happens. We worked a hard lot. Today's one I was certain but it happens. Let's move on. I feel really good about myself and looking forward to India. Now, some BBL action and have fun, and then on to India. That's part of the game and focus on the basics and play according to the situation. I hope, I can do that against India. Yes, I will keep an eye on the Super Smash and the next couple of weeks. We are really in a good space of mind and long may it continue."
Josh Hazlewood:"Yes certainly it was. 14 wickets was a hard task. The weather was a factor. Had there been no rain, then who knows? Just sticking to the basics and bowling in the right areas was the main aim. Get some reverse swing. I focussed on my role. Only had two quicks and bowled a lot more. This is a different pitch. Nice preparation for the India series. Similar conditions are what we expect. Yes, I would have loved to have played more Tests than I am. It's about being smarter and focusing on the body."
