Batting prodigy Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is on the cusp of making history. The 15-year-old is the youngest Indian male cricketer to receive a national team call-up.

If India decide to play him in the first T20I against Ireland, he could break Sachin Tendulkar’s record and become the youngest Indian to make an international debut.

However, Rajasthan Royals have given several other talented players to Team India over the last five years. These players impressed everyone with their performances in the IPL and earned their place in the Indian T20I team.

So, in this article, let’s take a look at the players Rajasthan Royals has given to Team India in the last five years.

Players Rajasthan Royals Has Given To India In Last Five Years

Riyan Parag

Riyan Parag earned his maiden T20I call-up after a brilliant IPL 2024 season. The Assam middle-order batter, who plays for Rajasthan Royals, made his T20I debut against Zimbabwe on July 6, 2024.

Notably, in his debut match, Parag scored 2 runs off 3 balls. Although it was not a big score, he got the opportunity after consistently performing well in the IPL.

Meanwhile, Parag has played 9 T20Is for India so far and has scored 106 runs.

Yashasvi Jaiswal

Yashasvi Jaiswal is now one of the mainstays of India’s Test team; however, he is yet to become a regular member of the white-ball squad.

Notably, Jaiswal enjoyed an outstanding IPL 2023 season with the Rajasthan Royals, scoring 625 runs in 14 innings at an impressive strike rate of 163.61. During that campaign, he also smashed the fastest fifty in IPL history, reaching the milestone in just 13 balls.

Following his stunning IPL performances, he earned his maiden India T20I call-up. He made his debut against West Indies in 2023 at Providence Stadium, Guyana. However, his debut didn't go quite to plan, as he managed to score just 1 run off 2 balls.

Dhruv Jurel, who is an important member of the Rajasthan Royals squad, made his T20I debut for India in 2024.

After India’s T20 World Cup 2024 triumph, the team travelled to Zimbabwe with a young squad. Jurel was included in the 15-member squad and made his debut alongside Riyan Parag.

Notably, on his debut, the wicketkeeper-batter scored 6 runs off 14 balls. While he couldn’t make a big impact, Dhruv Jurel got valuable international experience.

So far, Jurel has played 4 T20Is for India and has scored 12 runs, with his best score being 6.

Chetan Sakariya

Chetan Sakariya impressed the Indian selectors during IPL 2021 while playing for Rajasthan Royals.

In his debut IPL season, the left-arm pacer delivered some excellent performances. Notably, he picked up 14 wickets in 14 matches with an economy rate of 8.19, making him one of the standout young bowlers of the tournament.

As a result, Sakariya earned his maiden T20I call-up for the India vs Sri Lanka series in 2021.

However, the series turned out to be his first and last T20I assignment for India. Chetan Sakariya picked up just one wicket in two outings with an economy rate of 9.27. Since then, he has not played international cricket for India.
