Ashok Sharma – 154.2 Kmph
At number four on the list is Ashok Sharma, who impressed everyone in the IPL 2026 season while playing for Gujarat Titans. During a match against Rajasthan Royals at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ashok crossed the 150 kmph mark twice in the same over, which showed his ability to consistently bowl at high speed.
First, he bowled a delivery at 150.7 kmph to Donovan Ferreira in the 16th over. After that, on the final ball of the same over, he delivered a fiery ball at 154.2 kmph to Dhruv Jurel. This delivery placed him among the fastest Indian pacers in IPL history.
Mayank Yadav – 155.80 Kmph
Next on the list is Mayank Yadav, who made headlines during IPL 2024 while representing Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). Right from his debut match, he consistently bowled above 150 kmph, which immediately made him one of the most talked-about young fast bowlers.
One of his fastest deliveries came against Shikhar Dhawan, where he clocked 155.8 kmph. Furthermore, his overall bowling performance played a key role in Lucknow Super Giants securing a 21-run victory against Punjab Kings. His pace, control, and confidence made a strong impression during that season.

Mayank Yadav – 156.79 Kmph
Mayank Yadav appears again on the list with an even faster delivery in the same IPL season. During a match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, he clocked an impressive 156.7 kmph delivery.
In addition, Mayank delivered an outstanding spell in that match, conceding only 14 runs in his four overs. As a result, this delivery became the second-fastest ball bowled by an Indian in IPL history.
Umran Malik – 156.9 Kmph
At the top of the list is Umran Malik, who holds the record for the fastest ball by an Indian pacer in IPL history. While playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad, he bowled a thunderbolt at 156.9 kmph against Delhi Capitals at the Brabourne Stadium in 2022.
Notably, the Jammu and Kashmir pacer bowled this delivery during the final over of the innings, which showed his ability to maintain high speed even under pressure. Moreover, Umran Malik finished that IPL season with 22 wickets, which was an excellent achievement for a young fast bowler.
Soon after that season, he earned his call-up to the Indian team and later made his international debut against Ireland.
