Scoring a century in a T20I game is one of the biggest achievements considering the fast-paced nature of the game’s shortest format. In the almost 21-year-long history of the T20 internationals, there have been a handful of batters who have scored three or more centuries in their T20I careers.

Nonetheless, some of the talented batters in the current generation seem to have a knack for hitting 10 T20I 100s in their career. Hence, here, we’ll have a look at the 5 players who can score 10 centuries in the shortest format of the game.

5 Players who can score 10 T20I 100s

Phil Salt - England

The blistering England opener, Phil Salt, has impressed everyone in his quite short but outstanding four-year T20I career so far. Salt has scored 1,540 runs in 46 innings of the 50 games he has played in the format, averaging 38.50 and a strike rate of 168.12.

Salt has smashed four centuries in his T20I career, being the joint-second batter with the most centuries in T20Is, following Rohit Sharma and Glenn Maxwell. Considering a couple of years left for him in T20Is and his batting form, Salt can reach the milestone of 10 T20I centuries in his career.

Suryakumar Yadav - India

India’s T20I skipper and the explosive middle-order batter, Suryakumar Yadav, recently regained his batting form after a lean patch. He smashed two consecutive half-centuries against New Zealand in the second and third T20I of the ongoing five-match series.

Speaking of his illustrious T20I career since 2021, Suryakumar Yadav has scored 2,967 runs in 97 innings of the 103 T20Is he has played. In these appearances, SKY has scored four centuries, being the joint-second batter with the most T20I centuries, alongside England’s Phil Salt.

Suryakumar Yadav can also achieve the milestone of 10 T20I centuries if he continues with the same run of form for the next few years.

Josh Inglis - Australia

The star Australia middle-order batter, Josh Inglis, made his T20I debut almost 4 years ago, in February 2022. Since then, he has featured in 41 T20Is for his side, scoring 911 runs in 38 innings, with an average of 28.46 and a strike rate of 159.26.

He has also scored two centuries and two half-centuries in his T20I career. Batting in the top middle order might help Inglis to reach the milestone of 10 T20I hundreds in his career. Notably, he is also included in Australia’s plans for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2026.

Abhishek Sharma - India

The young swashbuckling India opener, Abhishek Sharma, has stunned everyone with his sensational run of form in the T20Is. He started his T20I career for India after the conclusion of the T20 World Cup 2024.

Since then, the southpaw has represented India in 37 T20Is, scoring 1,267 runs in 36 innings at an average of 37.26 and an astonishing strike rate of 194.92. Besides that, he has scored two centuries and eight half-centuries.

Abhishek Sharma undoubtedly has a knack for completing 10 T20I 100s, as he has already smashed quick knocks of 80s and 90s. Opening the innings will also give him an edge to achieve this feat.

Tilak Varma - India

The young India batter, Tilak Varma, usually bats in the top order at number three or four for his side in the T20Is. Out of the 37 innings he has batted in his career’s 40 T20Is, Tilak Varma has batted at number three in 15, while batting at four in 14 games.

Notably, Tilak has scored both his two T20I centuries at number three only. So, if he regularly gets chances to bat at number, he can comfortably reach the record of 10 hundreds in the shortest format of the game.

Speaking of Tilak’s impressive records at number three, he has scored 542 runs in 15 innings, with an outstanding average of 60.22 and a strike rate of 160.83, scoring two centuries and three half-centuries.
