IPL Velocity, are one of the three teams formed by the Board Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) in 2019 to compete in the inaugural edition of the Women's T20 challenge. The team donned the purple colour jersey and was led by the Indian skipper Mithali Raj and coached by Devika Palshikar.
