Captained by Indian opening batter Smriti Mandhana, Trailblazers are among the three teams to participate in the Women’s T20 Challenge 2022. The side made its debut in the 2018 edition of the tournament and ended it as the runners-up. The side failed to defend 129 runs against the Supernovas and ended on the losing side. New Zealand cricketer Suzie Bates returned as a top performer with contributions of 32 with the bat and 2/16 with the cork in hand.
