Milestone
That brings the curtain to the 16th edition of the ICC Under-19 Men's Cricket World Cup. In every edition this tournament ends with a promise of the future. This season is no different. India have won their sixth title and are leading the chart. Vaibhav Suryavanshi has already announced himself in the cricket world and today his hostile whirlwind knock of 175 runs from 80 balls has created the difference between the teams. The prodigious left hander has been adjudged the player of the tournament and the player of the match of the final.

English cricketers like Thomas Rew, Ben Mayes, Manny Lumsden and Caleb Falconer were the silver linings for them. Nooristani Omarzai and Faisal Shinozada are the future stars of the Afghanistan cricket. Sameer Minhas of Pakistan, Jorich van Schalkwyk and Jason Rowles of South Africa, Vitel Lawes and Shaquan Belle of West Indies have also impressed and they showed that they can be somebody on whom their teams can bank upon.

For now, this is Saptak Sanyal signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Dev Rajawat, the scorer/analyst of this match Yogesh Kumar and the statistician Aman. Hope you have enjoyed our coverage. We will meet again. Until then, cheers!
Vaibhav Suryavanshi has become the first player in Under-19 World Cup history to win both the Player of the Final and the Player of the Tournament awards in the same edition.

As the celebrations reach a fever pitch in Harare, the moment everyone had been waiting for arrived - captain Ayush Mhatre steps up to hoist the ICC Men's Under-19 World Cup trophy into the Zimbabwean sky. In an instant, he is swarmed by his teammates, who crowded behind the "WINNERS" board amidst a shower of confetti and cheers.

The scene is a beautiful chaos of blue jerseys, with every player proudly sporting a gold medal around their neck. The team management and tireless support staff soon join the fray, anchoring the group for the official championship photos that captured the culmination of their hard work.

Adding a touch of youthful energy to the festivities, Kanishk Chouhan and Vihaan Malhotra engaged in a spirited, impromptu push-up competition right on the turf, drawing laughs and roars from the squad. It is a perfect ending for an Indian side that dominated the final, proving they weren't just champions on the scorecard, but a brotherhood in every sense of the word.
