Haider Ali (Noakhali Express Captain): "There was definitely something in the pitch, and we started well (with the bat) in the powerplay, but we couldn't finish well. We should have scored around 160 runs.
The bowlers started really well for us, especially the new ball bowlers. However, the rest of them couldn't complement Hasan Mahmud and Ihsanullah.
[On not using Mahmud and Ihsanullah to their full potential] We tried bringing them back and using them from one end only, with someone else to bowl from the other end. However, it didn't work for us today.
[On Noakhali getting knocked out] It was a new team with a new support staff. We will try to rebuild it and come back stronger next season."

16:54 PM IST, 17:24 PM Local Time: A pretty comfortable five-wicket win in the end for the Chattogram Royals even though there were some jitters early on. With this result, Noakhali Express have been knocked out of the tournament as well.
Chasing 127 for victory, Chattogram got off to a poor start as they lost Mahmudul Hasan Joy for a 4-ball duck to Hasan Mahmud. In the very next over, Mohammad Haris also departed after being bounced out by Ihsanullah. Mahfijul Islam also struggled to come to terms with the conditions as he was dismissed for an 8-ball duck by Ihsanullah. They were soon reduced to 29/4 when Mohammad Naim holed out to long-off as Sabbir Hossain struck. Chattogram still finished the Powerplay with a decent 44/4.
Chattogram captain Mahedi and Hasan Nawaz stitched a crucial partnership for a while until the latter was stumped smartly by Jaker Ali off Zahir Khan in the 10th over. Despite that breakthrough, Noakhali Express couldn't trouble Chattogram anymore as Mahedi and Asif Ali played in a mature manner to stitch a 50-run partnership. Eventually, Mahedi struck a six on the last ball of the 17th over to seal the match.
Earlier in the match, Hassan Eisakhel and Soumya Sarkar got Noakhali Express to a brisk start. Yet, an ill-advised reverse-sweep brought about Soumya's downfall as he was bowled by Mahedi in the 4th over. Eisakhel tried to be too aggressive and he also perished on the final ball of the Powerplay as he miscued a delivery from Shoriful Islam.
