Rajshahi Warriors have now registered their fourth win of the season and are very close to securing a confirmed berth in the playoffs. However, Noakhali Express remain elusive of a victory this season and are eliminated from the race to the playoffs.

That's it from our live coverage of this game. This is Mohammad Anab signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Deepak Prakash and our scorer/analyst for this fixture, Yogesh Kumar. Cheers.
Najmul Hossain Shanto (Rajshahi Warriors Captain): "Very happy the way we played, especially the bowling unit and fielders. Our bowlers hit at the right areas. In these types of conditions, you need to find a way to pick up wickets.

Sandeep Lamichhane is a world-class player. It is very difficult for us to leave him out and not pick him in the XI. It's just because of our team combination, we are finding it difficult to field him.

Sahibzada Farhan batted excellently in the last match but unfortunately, he didn't play today. However, Muhammad Waseem covered him and batted just like him."
Muhammad Waseem (POTM): "I’m very happy with my performance and my contribution. We planned to attack the bad balls, and we got plenty of them in almost every over. There was some movement in the first half of the innings in the first innings, and our bowlers did well in the latter half of the innings. The team is good, the staff are good, so I’m really enjoying it."
Player of the Match: Muhammad Waseem
It's time for the post-match presentation.....
Haider Ali (Noakhali Express Captain): "Our plan was to bowl first, but we lost the toss, which was out of our hands. The batters followed the plan and didn’t lose any wickets in the powerplay. The toss plays a very important role in day games, and we were 20–30 runs short today. We will look to focus on our bowling in the next matches."
4:20 PM IST, 4:50 PM Local Time: End of the match with that single and Rajshahi Warriors register a victory by four wickets with one over to spare. They win their fourth match of this BPL season and climb to third spot in the points table. Noakhali Express will remain at the bottom of the points table as they register their sixth consecutive defeat and are yet to win their first match of the season. They now have no chance to qualify for the playoffs.

Being sent in to bat first, Noakhali Express posted a competitive total of 151 for 5 in their 20 overs, thanks largely to a fluent half-century from opener Soumya Sarkar, who scored 59 off 43 balls. Shahadat Hossain contributed a brisk 30 before being dismissed, while Mohammad Nabi played a useful cameo of 35 late in the innings. The openers registered a 50-run partnership for the opening wicket, a first for Express this season.

The Noakhali innings was marked by sensible partnerships and a late acceleration to ensure they surpassed 150. Their highest score of the season.

The Rajshahi Warriors’ chase got off to a bright start with early positive intent. Tanzid Hasan struck 21 before falling to Mehedi Hasan Rana, but opener Muhammad Waseem anchored the innings with a dynamic 60-run knock off 35 balls, showing excellent power and timing. Waseem arrived in Bangladesh after winding up the ILT20 2025-26 in the UAE. However, he just continued his good form from one league to another. Notably, he got run-out in a slightly controversial manner.

The Warriors did lose wickets in the middle but never looked uncomfortable in the chase. With some sensible knocks being played by Mushfiqur Rahim (19) and Ryan Burl (19*), Warriors chased down the target with four wickets in hand and an over to spare.

It is worth mentioning that Express's two bowlers, namely Rana (3/25) and Mohammad Nabi (1/26), bowled really well.
