That's it from this high voltage encounter. This match had everything that could have glued the fans to their seats and eventually it turned out to be a fiercely competitive encounter. Quetta Qavalry did better than Vista Riders in the super over and snatched the game away from them. With this victory they have qualified for the play-offs with 12 points from the 6 games and now they have a guaranteed spot in the top two of the points table.

Player of the Match: Muhammad Waseem
7:15 PM IST and 5:45 PM Local Time : This was a scintillating encounter with every ingredients present there to make a match interesting. We saw good bowling spells, sixes flying and eventually the scores got tied. Quetta Qavalry performed well in the super over and took the game away with just a ball remaining.
Earlier Vista Riders won the toss and sent the Quetta Qavalry to bat first. Qavalry were not at their best in this game in terms of batting. They lost Evin Lewis for 17. Andries Gous hit 2 fours and a maximum to score 23 from 16 balls. Muhammad Waseem outshone everyone with his 14-ball 41 run knock with 3 fours and 3 sixes and his innings took the Qavalry to 104/5 at the end of their 10 overs.
For the Vista Riders, Matthew Forde, Andrew Tye, Dwaine Pretorius and Dhananjaya Lakshan took a wicket each.
When Vista Riders came to bat, they lost Faf du Plessis who earlier hit a maximum to score 7 runs. The other opener also didn't get going as he got dismissed for 9. But the partnership between Ben McDermott and Sean Dickson changed the game. Dickson retired hurt after scoring 17 off 11 balls with 2 boundaries. They added 43 runs from 25 balls. Dwaine Pretorius was sent to replace him but he could score only one and Khuzaima Tanvir removed the well set McDermott in that over to bring the equation down to 18 from the final over. Rizwan hit a boundary in the second ball of Holder's final over and Forde hit a maximum in the fourth ball to bring the equation down to 3 off 2 but Holder was brilliant in the last couple of balls and the contest ended up being a tie as Vista Riders ended with 104/4.
For the Quetta Qavalry, Khuzaima Bin Tanvir took 2 wickets for 20 runs. Abbas Afridi and Ali Majid took a wicket each.
In the super over, Mohammad Amir himself took the ball for the Quetta Qavalry and restricted the Riders to 12. He bowled well to McDermott in the first two balls and got hit for a boundary in the third ball against Faf du Plessis. But he conceded only 5 from next 3 balls.
When the Qavalry came out to chase the target, they got an early advantage as Muhammad Waseem got a streaky boundary in the first ball against Andrew Tye. Tye did well in the third ball to remove Khawaja Nafay but Liam Livingstone had some other plans. Livingstone got two runs in his first ball courtesy of an overthrow and then he smacked one over deep fine leg to take his team home with a ball to spare.

6 SIXXX!! SIXX!! SIXXX! The Lancashire batter finishes the game off in some style. Agony for Andrew Tye but jubilations all around in the Quetta Qavalry dug-out. Contrasting emotions but that's how it goes. A fullish delivery at the middle stump. Livingstone takes his back leg to the off stump line and clears his front leg well. He uses the angle to flick this one handsomely over deep fine leg and it goes all the way. Livingstone failed in the first innings but you can't keep the swashbuckling batter out of the action for long. He makes a grand redemption when it mattered the most and takes his team home!!

1+1 Overthrow and Livingstone gets an overthrow run. It is all happening at the Zayed Cricket Stadium! Good length ball around off and it comes back in. Livingstone arches back and cuts it to McDermott at backward point and goes for a run. McDermott misses the direct hit at the keeper's end and it goes to midwicket. Both the batters are quick to steal the extra runs. 6 from 2 balls now!
