After a draw in the two-match Test series, Pakistan won the T20I and ODI series 2-1 each. South Africa will be gearing up for the challenge in India with the first Test slated to begin at the legendary Eden Gardens, Kolkata, from November 14. Meanwhile, Pakistan will be welcoming Sri Lanka for a three-match ODI series from Tuesday.

That’s it from the coverage. Arijit Kundu signing off along with fellow co-commentators, Karthik Raj, Deepak Prakash, AkshayaKrishna Polya, and scorer Ashok Dayma. Sayonara!!
Most Player of the Series awards for South Africa in ODIs:

6 – AB de Villiers, Hashim Amla

5 – Jacques Kallis

4 – Gary Kirsten
Shaheen Shah Afridi is about to lift the series trophy with his team-mates now. A well-deserved win for the hosts.
Shaheen Shah Afridi (Pakistan Captain): "Team-work, the boys have worked very hard in both T20Is and ODIs now. Credit to them.

We decided early on and took the decision. Spinners controlled the innings and bowled very well. When you play International cricket, you have to be ready.

Everyone is working very hard and everyone is getting opportunities. That's what I told before, it is team-work. We are focused on our next challenge now."
Matthew Breetzke (South Africa Captain): "Not enough runs. We were looking at 250. Unfortunately, we lost too many wickets. It wasn't easy. Abrar (Ahmed) bowled very well. I lost my wicket when I was trying to expand. They were too good today.

It is massive. Really good to experience these conditions which are not in our favour. We are going to India next, so can take the experience forward.

Lhuan-dre (Pretorius) has been special, Nandre (Burger) with his pace up-front. We have known these things. I would have loved to have won the series but learned a lot about captaincy."
Quinton de Kock (Player of the Series): "Yeah, bit disappointed to not be able to win -- the batting conditions was tough. We didn't do well as a batting unit, they played freely. This is the first time I played a white ball game in Pakistan. Lot of things for the younger players too. Playing against spin, some reverse swing, nonetheless, a good condition to test ourselves.

Obviously, the guys will go home, and take a break, and think about what comes next. They will train, and its about themselves to figure out."
Player of the series: Quinton de Kock
Abrar Ahmed (Player of the Match): "I read the pitch and bowled according to it. Asked (Mohammad) Rizwan too about the pitch and adjusted.

I try to keep it simple. Just try to apply what I have been working on. Am not thinking a lot about being in and out of the side.

Been practicing to be consistent with my line and lengths. Satisfied with this outing and hope to do well in important matches."
Abrar Ahmed is the 'Player of the Match'.
Saim Ayub also gets the 'Electrifying Batter of the Match' award.
