That's it from our coverage of a one-sided clash in the Super Smash, Northern Brave taking the win home by 107-runs against hosts Auckland! Ninaad Dixit here signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Manan Mehta and scorer Bishal Mandal. Stay tuned for more action from around the world.
Sean Solia (Auckland Captain): "We were outplayed both with the bat and ball but we have got one more chance in a few days to get into the finals.

We will definitely reflect. Games are really close together so you have to focus on the next one. To pull it back like we did towards the end, credit to the boys for that.

Our bowlers have done a great job throughout the comp. We will reflect and bounce back sharply."
Robert O'Donnell (POTM & Northern Brave Captain): "Very happy with the win. Few things we can still tighten up on. Full credit to the ground staff in the way the ground was set up with the weather. Once we knew that we get past 230 we knew we are in a good position. Didn't quite get there but a good score, nonetheless.

Yeah, the wicket did surprise but happy the way to played. It helped us out. If you see, the Aces have also done similar by scoring 200+ regularly and bundling out sides. It does help when you do that.

Yeah, the boys have put in some real work behind the scenes, and I am happy that it is showing on the big stage. Yeah, we are very happy to cement that top spot. It was something we were looking at keenly. Very happy to get to that. We still have two games to go and will look to continue the good work."

11:56 AM IST, 7:26 PM Local Time: Northern Brave wrap up a mighty 107-run win against the Auckland Aces at the Eden Park to keep the top spot in the points table.

Auckland won the toss and invited Brave to put up a total - a job they executed well posting 217/8 in 20 overs. Skipper Robert O'Donnell hitting 56 in 33 balls getting good inputs from Joe Carter (39 off 22), Katene Clarke (30 off 18) and Tim Pringle (21 off 8). Ryan Harrison stood out with the ball with figures of 3/30.

Auckland never looked to chase the total down losing 3 wickets inside the powerplay as Scott Kuggeleijn and Zak Gibson shared three wickets inside the powerplay sending the top 3 for single digits.

Colin Munro (22 off 12) then added 40 runs for the 4th wicket with Lachlan Stackpole (17 off 15) but the Brave bowling attack continued picking up wickets. Only Cam Fletcher with an unbeaten 32 showed some fight hitting 5 boundaries. Only 3 sixes were struck in the entire innings.

Scott Kuggeleijn (4/26) was the pick of the bowlers and claimed a hat-trick as well. Tim Pringle wrapped the tail with 3/14 in 3.3 overs. Gibson bowled 3 overs with 1/12. Brett Hampton and Joshua Brown also picked up a wicket apiece.

Stay tuned as we return with the post match presentation.
