India did not just dominate, they dictated terms. We have seen teams string together winning streaks in T20s, but hardly any have ever done it with the imperiousness with which Suryakumar Yadav and co. have.

The only question that remains now is will they be able to sustain this momentum for long enough to defend their title at the upcoming World Cup?

Two more matches remain in this series, for them to iron-out any possible wrinkle that they think remains. For New Zealand, there is everything to play for in those upcoming games at Visakhapatnam and Thiruvananthapuram — their pride, their confidence and just the urge of figuring out their combination before the marquee tournament.

Do join us for the 4th T20I on Wednesday, January 28. Our coverage will begin at 6:00 PM IST. Till then, it is Darpan Tikiya signing off on the behalf of Ajay Pal Singh, Raju Khariya and Aman. Keep following CREX for more cricketing action from around the globe.

Jasprit Bumrah (POTM): "[On not going to collect the trophy] It has been a while, which is why I forgot. I didn't know it as well so that's why (chuckles).

[On his first ball wicket] I was keeping an eye when Harshit and Hardik bowled. What is the best option over here. When I came in, the ball had already been scuffed up. So, the ball doesn't swing for long, I was wondering what was my best option how I wanted to try so I tried to do that.

[Asked if he needs the new ball] I am happy as far as I am able to contribute. If the team wants me to bowl with the new ball, I am more than happy. If they want me to bowl at the end, I am happy to do that as well. I did that in Asia Cup, it was a new role for me. Never did that before, bowling 3 overs but as a team we have to be flexible so I have to flexible as well.

[On playing 10 years for India] Oh, it feels really good. I as a child, only dreamt to play 1 game. Playing 10 years for your country, being not an all-rounder, pure all rounder. Fighting aches and pains, opinions. Because I was not supposed to play for this long when people first saw me. I was given 6 months max. So this is something that I was really proud of that playing for your country for so long and hopefully the journey continues because that is something that, you know, it's a feather in my cap and I'll keep it with me."
Player of the Match: Jasprit Bumrah
Suryakumar Yadav (India captain): "The principal and the teacher allowed me a lot of time to play this game. They gave me a lot of free time to go the ground. That's where I learnt everything. This is the brand we want to play, irrespective of if we are batting first or bowling first. Tomorrow, if we are 20/3 or 40/4, we know how to bat. But we want to play a different brand. This is the best way going forward.

What do I say about the top 2-3 batters. They make my job easy. What do I say about Ravi Bishnoi. His plans are clear, he knows he is bowling really well. Very good to have him in the side. Good rest for Varun too."
Great striker of the Match award: Abhishek Sharma
All-round contribution award: Ravi Bishnoi
