Sunrisers Hyderabad once again reminded everyone what they are capable of when their batting clicks. They were once again within touching distance of breaching the 300-run mark but fell short by 22 runs. Despite the 110-run win to sign off their campaign, they finish the tournament at 6th place with 13 points. On the other hand, the defending champions end with a massive defeat and bow out at 8th place with just 5 wins.

That's all we had for you from this double-header Sunday. For now, this is Ajay Pal Singh, signing off on behalf of my colleagues AkshayaKrishna Polya, Ninaad Dixit, Paras Yadav, Manish Bishnoi and Aman. Goodbye!!
Heinrich Klaasen (Player of the Match): "The franchise puts a lot of money into this. They have been around 15 years into this. We brilliant cricket through the last three and a half games. The team gave us an incredible holiday in the middle of the season. It was a tough season. I didn't do what I wanted to do despite getting a few good starts.

The straight boundaries are very short and the other boundaries are 50 or 60 metres. I got my trajectory a little better today and I am very pleased.

I have worked a lot. I have to spend a lot of time in the nets making sure I am picking the right areas.

I wanted to bat up. We always lost a couple of wickets at the start but we got better. I usually go inside in the 6th or 7th over and that is my role. Sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn't."

Pat Cummins (Sunrisers Hyderabad Captain): "Amazing finish. I think in the last few games of the season, a lot of things have clicked for us. That was pretty scary to watch our batting.

I think with the calibre of players we have, we couldn't have played any worse than we have played in between the season for a little period. Towards the back half of the season, we showed that we have a good side. With the players we have, we should be making the finals. It doesn't quite work this year.

Yes, certainly we spoke about it. We get wickets like here, we got to max out and get 250-260 and other ones where we need to graft and get to 170, which we didn't. Those are the games which didn't go our way.

Yeah, that is right. Quite a few guys got an opportunity. Even a couple of guys on the bench are good. Unfortunately, they couldn't get into the XI. We are really happy with the squad we have got here. A few of the players were injured and, unfortunately, had to go home early in the season. We used around 20 players this season."
