Milestone
Major League Cricket continues to grow. MI New York won their second title in three seasons, evading Washington Freedom their second straight silverware in a thrilling final in Dallas. A fantastic piece of cricket from the MI franchise as they keep winning franchise leagues across the world. Another edition of MLC has come to an end. More actions are coming your way on our network.

For now, this is me, AkshayaKrishna Polya, signing off on behalf of my co-commentator, Utsav Chandak and scorer/analyst, Ghanendra Singh Thakur, who brought you all the live action of an enthralling summit clash. We will meet again. Until then, it is cheers!
Players to win the Most T20 Finals:

17 - Kieron Pollard*

17 - DJ Bravo

16 - Shoaib Malik
Nicholas Pooran collects the trophy. The squad is already on the podium. The celebration begins. The fireworks go off. The party begins in Dallas. Pollard and Nicky P have been at this stage many times. The rest of the squad is still soaking in. MI have shown yet again that they are a master of playoff matches.
Nicholas Pooran (MI New York Captain): "Amazing feeling. To get where we got after a challenging journey. Really happy. Not because we won tonight, but because of the way the guys stick together. The belief that has stuck on, we were really optimistic when things weren't going our way, and now we stand here as the champions, So it is an unreal feeling.

The journey is always stressful. But the man above puts you in the situation that you can handle. I just feel like, the support staff, the management, the senior guys just talk together, it was not a one man show.

Rushil has grown from strength to strength, he has gotten better and better. He can bowl tough overs with him and Tristan, who didn't get the opportunity in Miami. Big credit to both Rushil and Tristan, but today was all about Rushil.

Sometimes captain doesn't know everything. You have to trust guys. At some point the guys have to take responsibility. This is our 6th game, we took to the last over. And it feels really happy, that whenever it gets the close, the team stands up.

It just sounds good, yeah. MI winning sounds good. There is a lot of expectations with this franchise. And they love winning."
The winning squad is now receiving championship medals. The players and support staff come one by one to the podium to collect the award.
Mitchell Owen (MVP of the tournament): "Would have been nice to replicate some of that tonight, but didn't go our way. I am really disappointed at the moment.

I am really grateful for the opportunity that Washington Freedom gave me. Bat at the top of the order and also play an important role with the ball. Grateful for the opportunity given.

Thank you so much, definitely there with the Freedom."
Most Valuable Player of the Tournament: Mitchell Owen
Monank Patel (Leading Run Scorer Award & Domestic player of the tournament): "I was following the advice of my batting coach and my team coach. I wanted to be disciplined with whatever I do. Luckily, it helped me throughout the tournament.

It was important for us to get a proper start. So, one batsman who gets in, should try to play 40-50 balls, and that is what I did through the tournament.

It is really important to balance both of them. I know my game, if I take 15-20 balls in the powerplay, I don't worry about the strike rate and once I get set, I play my shots.

Very chill vibe. We don't talk too much, just enjoy each other's vibe."
