The win was definitely set-up by Shubham Ranjane and Donovan Ferreira's fireworks with the bat but the trio of Nandre Burger, Akeal Hosein and Noor Ahmad also impressed with the ball in difficult conditions.
Chasing 88 runs in 5 overs for victory, Rachin Ravindra started the innings well but Nandre Burger came back well to remove the Kiwi and Glenn Maxwell in the first over itself. Mitchell Owen struck the first ball of the 2nd over from Akeal Hosein for a maximum but the left-arm spinner came back superbly to bowl five dot balls after that which included the scalp of the Aussie batter as well.
Thereafter, the asking rate kept rising as Noor Ahmad and Akeal bowled useful overs. In the final over, Noor castled Andries Gous to add a wicket to his tournament tally while TSK managed to restrict Freedom to just 44/4 in the end.
