Saud Shakeel (Quetta Gladiators Captain): "I think it would be the best knock of his (Hasan Nawaz) career. He showed how much talent he possesses and how resilient he is.
I think, in T20 cricket, you tend to get hit for runs in the death overs. In my opinion, it was a 150-run pitch and our bowlers did very well to restrict them to that total. But from the batting point of view, I am not fully satisfied. We could have finished it a bit better. However, in the end, winning the game is the most important thing.
We have played brilliantly in the Lahore leg, but credit should go to the bowlers. They made batters' job easy. We made forced changes, but it made us test our bench strength. Happy to be in this place."
Hasan Nawaz (Player of the Match): "I was a bit nervous at the start but once I was set, I was confident to chase it down. It was about taking the game as deep as possible. Wasim and I spoke about this and focused on strike rotation.
Wasim played a fantastic knock and we wanted to finish the game together but it was unfortunate that he got out. With Abrar, he was ready to take the couple, even if he was run-out. I'm happy to get the score and I will try to keep contributing in future matches. I was trying to play my shots and a couple of drops at their end benefitted us."
