Monank Patel (USA Captain): "I thought Oman had the momentum in the first 10 overs, but the way we bowled in the last 10 was a really good effort from the bowlers. After bowling 20 overs on this pitch, we felt they were about 10 runs short, given our deep batting lineup. The way we started in the first six overs was crucial.
It was great to see the batsmen taking responsibility and expressing themselves. Credit to Saiteja for stepping up, taking responsibility, and finishing the game in style.
It's important to maintain a balance between taking calculated risks and ensuring we take responsibility to build strong partnerships. The way Gous and Sai formed a solid stand at the start, followed by my partnership with Sai, was crucial. Sai took on the responsibility, ensuring he stayed till the end, allowing others to express themselves and take a few risks when needed."

6:48 PM IST and 5:18 PM Local Time- This has been an incredible run chase from the United States of America and they've shown again why they're rated so highly in this format among all the associate nations. 191 was never going to be a chase for them but they got to it with one over to spare courtesy a swashbuckling 100 from Saiteja Reddy Mukkamalla. The 20 year old youngster smacked a 100 from just 48 balls and it's a name you will be hearing for a long time to come.
USA got off to a positive start as Andries Gous came out all guns blazing. Steven Taylor however was struggling as he failed to find the boundaries. Sufyan Mehmood cleaned him up with a superb inswinger. It brought Saiteja to the crease and he began to accelerate along with Gous.
By the end of the powerplay, the USA got to 57 as the Oman bowlers took a bit of a pounding. Saiteja was going from strength to strength and scoring the boundaries at will. It was the legend, Aamir Kaleem who came back into the attack and struck to remove Gous. At the halfway stage of the innings, USA needed 105 runs to win.
Saiteja continued to dominate and managed to get to his 50 from just 25 balls. Monank Patel started off slowly but he picked up pace with time. The pair put on 68 runs for the third wicket before Patel had been dismissed by Nadeem. It brought Aaron Jones to the crease and he went for the big shots from the word go. With five overs left in the chase, USA were cruising.
