B Sai Sudharsan (Player of the Match): "I mean IPL is that kind of a tournament where you need momentum at the start. I'm grateful for that. It's always a joy to contribute to the team and get the win.
At the start, the wicket was seaming. I took my time. I took the game deep after the powerplay. We wanted to have wickets in hand and it worked very well.
The awareness is more. We are more clear on what we have to do. If we lose wickets, the set batter has to play till the end. We also have strong hitters coming after us. If we give them the platform, they can score big in the last 5 overs.
I always try and see what I can do better. I try to improve my awareness and skills. I just write it down what I want to improve. I'm also working on my basics in the last few years which is working for me nicely."

Shubman Gill (Gujarat Titans Captain): "Good total first up on the board. It wasn't easy in the first 3-4 overs. Sai and Jos Buttler were tremendous. We will take 220 on any day of the week. The way we have been bowling spin is very clinical. Our fast bowlers are doing a tremendous job.
Everyone is chipping in. If you are having difficulties in choosing the player of the match, that's a good problem to have, and that's been our hallmark as a team. Everyone contributes and chips in. Good for us.
[On the bowlers] Very pleased. When you have got bowlers like we have in our team, the captaincy becomes quite easy. Especially the form that all of our fast bowlers are in makes my job very easy. Whosoever I bring in there is just happy to take wickets and contribute.
Everyone is very nice. We have got Ishi bhai (Ishant Sharma), who has played over 100 Test matches, but everyone is super nice.
