Davina Perrin and Northern Superchargers Women destroy London Spirit Women at the Kennington Oval to march into the final of the Women's Hundred 2025. They will face Southern Brave Women at the Lord's Cricket Ground tomorrow (Sunday). This will be the second time these two teams face off in the summit clash, with their previous meeting having taken place in 2023. The Superchargers have a score to settle, but they are up against a team that has yet to see a defeat this season.

We have another thrilling Eliminator coming up with Trent Rockets taking on Northern Superchargers in the Men's competition at the same venue. There is a rain threat hovering around that fixture.

For now, this is me, AkshayaKrishna Polya, signing off on behalf of my co-commentator, Pritam Dey, scorer/analyst, Paras Yadav and statistician, Aman. We will meet again. Until then, it is cheers!
Davina Perrin (Hero of the Match): "I guess I did deliver of my team (smiles). It feels really good. I am buzzing to be through to the final. We have got a very talented group. We are just glad that we got over the line today.

I had some really good chats with the coaches yesterday. They gave me a lot of confidence. All I am telling myself is just to soak the moments and enjoy it. I try to stay in the present and take it ball by ball. I don't check my score on the scoreboard when I bat.

I love Sir Viv's flair and I love Brian Lara's hunger to score big. My dad used to turn on the Youtube videos up and I used to watch them since I was maybe like 6 or 7. I try to channel them since my childhood.

(About her parents) It was so special to perform in front of them. I love them to bits. My family are my rock. I wouldn't have been here without their support. They always keep reminding me to stay humble.

Obviously, there is an inspiration to take. I got to backup of what I did today. It's a new team tomorrow and a new ground. We will just adapt, stay in the moment and give our everything."

9:23 PM IST and 4:53 PM Local Time: Northern Superchargers Women thrash defending champions London Spirit Women by 42 runs in the Eliminator and set a final date with Southern Brave Women at the Home of Cricket on Sunday! Davina Perrin's breakthrough innings set the game for the Superchargers, before the bowlers did the rest to knock out the Spirit.

The only thing that went London Spirit's way was the toss, as they won the coin flip and decided to bowl first. The Superchargers openers, especially Davina Perrin, went berserk right from ball one, setting the foundation for a massive score. Perrin hit 15 fours and 5 sixes in her whirlwind knock of 101 off just 43 balls. She got to her ton off 42 balls, the second fastest century in the Hundred competition across both men's and women's tournaments. The 18-year-old was also the second woman to reach the three-figure mark in the Women's Hundred.

Perrin and Alice-Davidson Richards, who was only a mere spectator, added 105 runs for the opening wicket as it was the first-ever 100-plus opening stand for the Superchargers. Phoebe Litchfield (35 off 19) and Nicola Carey (31* off 12) were simply brilliant with the bat. Litchfield supported Perrin after Davidson-Richards' (18 off 15) departure. At the same time, Carey gave a perfect finish, scoring 22 runs off the final set bowled by Grace Harris and helping the Superchargers to breach the 200-run mark. It was the first-ever time a team scored in excess of 200 in the women's competition.

Northern Superchargers posted a record-breaking 214/5, the highest ever total in the Women's Hundred history. There wasn't much to say about the London Spirit's bowling, as they leaked runs at will, feeling the heat when Perrin was unstoppable. Glenn and Dean somewhat delivered decent spells, but the rest of the bowling attack was just taken to the cleaners.

Once Grace Harris was bowled on the second ball of the run chase, you always knew where this game was heading. Defending champions lost wickets at regular intervals and lost momentum. The Superchargers' bowlers didn't have a tough task with too many runs in the bank to defend. Still, the Spirit managed to crawl their way on to 172/9 in 100 balls. Despite rain and scoreboard pressure, the Charlie Dean-led side managed to weather the storm for a full innings.

Georgia Redmayne was the top scorer for the Spirit, smashing an unbeaten half-century, while Charli Knott scored a brisk 40 off 16 balls and Cordelia Griffith hit 29 off 17 balls. There wasn't much to describe their batting as a collective bowling effort from the Armitage-led side helped them to their second final.

Grace Ballinger (3/22) set the tone. Kate Cross (2/29) just did what she does the best. Annabel Sutherland (3/40) went for a few runs but bounced back with wickets in her final set. Nicola Carey and Linsey Smith were expensive, but it didn't matter much, as there was still plenty left in the tank.
