That would be all from our side as we come to the end of our live coverage of this WPL game between the Delhi Capitals Women and the Mumbai Indians Women. For now, it's Soumarya Dutta signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Ajay and our Scorer/Analyst Paras Yadav. See you soon.
Niki Prasad (POTM) - " I was visualizing the situation before the game and I managed to hold my nerve and do what I needed to in the end. The situation we were in, it was about playing calculative cricket. We picked up the singles accordingly and also scored the boundaries. I'm really excited and motivated to rub shoulders with the legends and learn from them as well. "
Player of the Match: Niki Prasad
Meg Lanning (Delhi Capitals Women Captain): "That's way too stressful, I hope not every game is like that (chuckles). I thought we did well to keep them down to 164. They were on their way to 200. Our bowlers did a great job.
In patches, we were good with the bat. Mumbai Indians hit us hard but we did well to take it deep and get over the line.
I had an idea what it would look like, Minnu did well. When batters get set, you don't want to serve them same thing again and again. A lot of chopping and changing.
Really impressed. I thought Niki did well coming in at a tricky situation. Radha Yadav was brilliant to hit that six as well. T20 is about those cameos and impact plays, I thought we had those tonight."
Most Dot balls in the Match: Shikha Pandey (16 Dot balls)
Catch of the Match: Amelia Kerr
Super Sixes of the Match: Harmanpreet Kaur (3 Maximums)
Super Striker of the Match: Shafali Verma (Strike of 238.8)
Time for the post-match presentation.
