Player of the Match: Chris Jordan
2:15 AM IST, 9:45 PM Local Time: Chris Jordan, the hero of the day with both ball and bat, sealed the game for Surrey with a boundary in a last-ball thriller.

Earlier, after being invited to bat first, Tawanda Muyeye (37) and Daniel Bell-Drummond (19) added 46 runs for the first wicket and provided a decent start to Kent. Joe Denly, who came out to bat at number four, scored briskly and contributed 40 runs off 22 balls to keep the momentum going.

Surrey bowlers staged a comeback in the latter half of the innings and grabbed wickets at regular intervals, but Jack Leaning (24) and Thomas Stewart Rogers’ (18*) rapid knocks at the tail end propelled Kent to over 170 runs in 20 overs.

Chris Jordan shone with the ball for Surrey, claiming four wickets. Mitchell Santner chipped in with a couple of wickets, while Sam Curran celebrated a solitary wicket.

Surrey got off to a shaky start, losing both openers cheaply. However, Sam Curran (32) and Jason Roy (56) steadied the ship with a crucial partnership in the middle. Roy shifted gears as the innings progressed, bringing up a well-crafted half-century. The duo added 90 runs for the third wicket to put Surrey back on track.

Despite losing a few wickets in quick succession during the death overs, Laurie Evans kept his composure and anchored the chase with an unbeaten 46. With 3 runs needed off the final ball, Chris Jordan (8*) held his nerve and smashed a boundary to seal a last-ball thriller for Surrey.

Wes Agar shone with the ball for Kent, claiming 3 wickets. Grant Stewart and Thomas Stewart Rogers bagged one wicket each.

4 One bounce and into the fence! WOW! What a game of cricket! Jordan seals the game for Surrey in a last-ball thriller. Loopy flighted delivery, full, on the off-stump line. Jordan plants his front leg across and slog sweeps it towards cow corner region. Splits two fielders in the deep, and the ball goes over the fence on a bounce.

2 Good work in the deep. Flighted delivery on the stumps. Jordan swings hard and lofts it down the ground. Doesn’t time it well and the long-on fielder slides across to save a couple of runs. 3 needed off 1 ball.
19.4 M Parkinson to L Evans
1 Low full toss on the stumps. Evans charges down staying away from the line of the ball and drives to long-off for a run. 5 needed off 2 balls.
19.3 M Parkinson to L Evans
2 Fuller and on the stumps. Evans charges down and drills it to long-on for a double. 6 needed off 3 balls.
