Fakhar Zaman (Player of the Match):"I think playing the fast bowlers well but we were struggling the spinners. We tried to take the game deep. The spinners were bowling well. Leg side boundary was big and tried to access the off side and it was a shorter boundary.
Sam Curran is such a talented player. He made the things easy for me. He deserves the credit. To be honest, I was enjoying. We never talk about losing and winning. We try to play good cricket."
Player of the Match: Fakhar Zaman
Lockie Ferguson (Desert Vipers Captain): " Yeah, it feels great against the strong Emirates side. It is really nice to see different guys standing up for the game. I was not sure what the par score here is.
During the latter part of first inning, I knew dew would play a key role. I think Salamkheil and Mousley bowled really well in the middle phase."
Nicholas Pooran (MI Emirates Captain):"I felt we were in the game after the first half. 160 was good total but the dew came in and made it difficult for us. It is still a young tournament and I think our bowlers grouped well. Credit goes to Fakhar for the way he batted.
I can assess what is required and what will make our team better. We batted well for the three phases of the bat. Happy for Pollard. He is an asset for us."
Dispatch of the Day: Kieron Pollard
Time for the post-match presentations.
