Fortune Barishal proved too hot to handle for the Dhaka Capitals. Tamim Iqbal led from the front with a fine half-century to take his side home without breaking a sweat. We have another game coming up at the same venue at 6:30 PM Local Time. Do join us for that clash.

This is Ajay Pal Singh signing off on behalf of my colleagues Arjun Bhalla and Dushyant Madhukar Kumar. Goodbye!!!
Najmul Hossain Shanto: "I think it is a team game. As long as we are winning, I am not concerned about my own form. It is a difficult wicket to bowl but our bowlers did a fine job to restrict them to that total.

Yeah, no excuses to drop those catches. We will work hard to improve on that. Both batters played well and it is nice for us.

Today, it was a very good wicket to bat on and we are happy with our performance."
Najmul Hossain Shanto collects the award on behalf of Tamim Iqbal.
Player of the Match: Tamim Iqbal
Time for the final presentation!
Thisara Perera (Dhaka Capitals Captain): "We failed to put runs on the board. As a batting unit, we didn't click well, that includes me. I think if we could have scored close to 150-160 runs on this wicket, it would have been a much better target.

Actually, in the first few matches, we played really well, and we played brilliantly in the last game as well, but we didn't do our homework right for this game. We were on a high of scoring 250 runs in the last game; thus, we failed with the bat in this game. As a batting unit, we need to stick around together.

We have two more day games at this venue, so I think we could score around 160 runs, our bowling unit will be able to defend that as they are much better than this. Thank you!"
4:02 PM IST & 4:32 PM Local Time: Thatโ€™s it!!! Fortune Barishal brush aside Dhaka Capitals to move up to the second place on the points table. They win this contest by 8 wickets and four overs to spare. Dhaka Capitals, after a huge win in their last game by 149 runs, have now lost their seventh game this season. Tamim Iqbal led from the front with a fine half-century and Dawid Malan gave him solid support from the other end, remaining unbeaten on 49.

Earlier in the match, Dhaka Capitals won the toss and opted to bat first. They lost Litton Das in the fifth over.

Munim Shahriar fell for a duck. JP Kotze and Sabbir Rahman also fail to leave a mark with the bat. Tanzid Hasan Tamim played a lone hand, scoring 62 off 44 balls. Skipper Thisara Perera fell for a silver duck.

Farmanullah Safi scored 22 runs down the order to take them to 139 before the Capitals were bowled out with three balls to spare.

Tanvir Islam picked up three wickets in three overs while Faheem Ashraf picked up two from his four. Jahandad Khan, Ripon Mondol and Mahmudullah all bagged one wicket apiece.

In reply, Barishal lost Najmul Hossain Shanto cheaply but a 117-run stand between Tamim Iqbal and Dawid Malan made sure that they get over the line without breaking a sweat.

Tamim lost his wicket after scoring 61 runs off 48 balls. Jahandad Khan walked out and hit a couple of maximums to finish the game and secure an easy win for Barishal. Thisara Perera and Abu Jayed picked up one wicket apiece. Stay tuned for the post-match presentation.
