Here’s a review of what happened in the match.
Earlier, Morrisville Samp Army won the toss and opted to bowl first. Their spinners spun the web around the Delhi Bulls’s batters from the start and as a result Delhi Bulls were on the score of 19-3 in no time.
Rovman Powell and Tim David then put on 34 runs for the fourth wicket and started to build the momentum back before the former throwing his wicket away.
Isuru Udana then came in to bowl and bowled a brilliant spell of 3 for 17 in his 2 overs and bagged important wickets for his side including Tim David and Rovman Powell.
As a result, Delhi Bulls never kept going and in the end managed to get a below par score of 89/7 in their quota of 10 overs.
Isuru Udana was the pick of the bowlers but he was equally well supported by Amir Hamza and Imad Wasim from other ends.
Chasing 90, Morrisville Samp Army lost their experienced batter Faf du Plessis who got out scoring a single run. Andries Gous then walked in at 3 and hit the ball running from the first ball.
