India Women 2-0 England Women! That's the scoreline so far in this 5 match T20I series! Lest not forget, the men's team clash tomorrow in the second Test and India men will hope to repeat the success of their women's counterparts! All this and much more as we will bring you all the LIVE action from around the world! Join us!

Until then, this is Anirudh Modi, signing off along with my colleagues Pritam Dey, Akshay Bhide and Bishal Mandal! See you on the next one!
Harmanpreet Kaur (India Women Captain): "It was a good win for us. Entire team performed really well and it was really good to see.

The way Jemimah and Amanjot batted was really impressive. They gave us enough runs to defend and the bowlers contributed in the second innings.

The way both of them (Jemimah and Amanjot) kept the scoreboard ticking by rotating strikes and also taking calculative risks in order to find the boundaries. It was really pleasing to see them taking responsibilities for the team. We have very big boundaries here so you need to think of twos whenever you don't get boundaries.

It's a long time for the World Cup. We want to keep getting better and gain more experience. We will back our strengths and hopefully carry on with the same momentum."
Nat Sciver-Brunt (England Women Captain): " We started well with the ball by picking up a few early wickets but things changed. With the bat, Beaumont played well and her partnership with Amy was excellent but we needed another one on top of that, it was not great to start by losing a couple of wickets with the bat.

She has been quite impressive in domestic cricket, no. 4 is difficult for her but I'm glad she is using her form to play through that.

We need to come back with some fresh ideas and be a little bit more clinical in what we want to execute, and yes take some learnings from this game."
Amanjot Kaur (Player of the Match): "Thank you. I am feeling quite overwhelmed. I didn't think about this way at all. I am really happy that I could contribute for my team.

Injuries are part and parcel of the game now. We need to be ready for that. I had no pressure of the comeback. I love playing and I am really confident whenever I step onto the field.

I had enough time to prepare for these games. I had my trainer and coach who guided me a lot.

You know Jemi (Jemimah) played a sensational knock. She made things really easy for it. It was quite impressive and I enjoyed batted with her today.

The bowlers bowled really well. It was a decent wicket to bat. We had a chat that 150 would be a par total. We are really happy with the win."

2:08 AM IST, 9:38 PM Local Time | India Women win by 24 runs! They seal a fantastic victory over the home side to take a 2-0 lead in this 5 match T20I series! Excellent performance from the Women in Blue & Orange to stake their claim as one of the best sides in the world as they breach the fortress Bristol!

England Women won the toss and elected to field first, and initially it looked like a good decision as they rattled the Indian top order. However, a 4th wicket partnership worth 93 runs between Jemimah Rodrigues (63 runs) and Amanjot Kaur (63 runs) set the platform for Ghosh to come in and smash 32 runs off 20 balls to help India Women register 181/4 at the end of their 20 overs.

For England Women, Lauren Bell was exceptional with the ball as she registered 2/17 from her 4 overs.

Come the chase, it was a nightmare start for England as both openers were sent back within the first 7 balls of the chase! India Women followed it up with their 3rd wicket in the powerplay when Kaur got the better of Sciver-Brunt after the latter had struck Charani for 3 boundaries in one over.

Tammy Beaumont stood tall for England, and played a crucial knock of 54 runs off 35 balls to stabilize the innings and give England an outside chance of winning with Amy Jones in tow. It was not to last though, as another poor call between the wickets saw Beaumont run herself out and her wicket opened the floodgates.

Amy Jones fell soon after to Charani, who also dismissed Capsey in the same over to put India in the driver's seat to win the game! With 6 wickets down, Sophie Ecclestone came out to bat and she started smashing it all over the park to pull England back from the abyss!

Eventually, Ecclestone's fiery cameo of 35 runs off 23 balls was not enough as England fell short of the target by 24 runs.

For India, Charani was the pick of the bowlers with the figures of 2/28 from her 4 overs. While, Amanjot Kaur and Deepti Sharma picked up a wicket each to help the cause.

India Women will be on cloud 9 after taking another step to seal the series but will be vary of England Women's potential in the upcoming matches!
