Agha Salman (Pakistan Captain): "It was an outstanding performance. Perfect game for us in a long time. The bowlers started really well. Then we took early wickets that was missing. The two youngsters batted really well. If you back the youngsters they will come good as they did today.
I just said it's a good batting wicket with short boundary so 200 was a par score, we can chase it down and the way the youngsters batted was heartening to see.
Restricting them to 200 was a very good effort from the bowlers and I am very happy with that. It is a do or die situation for us. We wanted to go out and enjoy, that's what we did. Looking ahead to do that in the next game as well."
Michael Bracewell (New Zealand Captain): "Yeah it was a tough day for us but credit to Nawaz with the way he batted. He played an exceptional innings and sometimes you need to give credit to the opposition.
Well, we failed to bat through the 20 overs. We were 15-20 runs short tonight. Pakistan played really well and credit to them.
Yeah Mark played really well. We wanted to carry on with the momentum after his dismissal but they bowled really well in the death overs to pull things back."
Hasan Nawaz (Player of the Match): "Well, I was very disappointed with the way I got out in the previous two games. I want to thank Shadab and Agha Salman for backing me and guiding me a lot.
First of all, I wanted to get a single and score my first run in International cricket. Once I got the first run, the pressure was released. I want to thank Shadab and Agha Salman a lot for helping me."
Player of the Match: Hasan Nawaz
