Katey Martin hands over the trophy to Alyssa Healy. The Australian Skipper is now joined by her teammates. The Photoshoots begin and Australia Women have clinched the ODI Series 2-0 and have retained the Rose Bowl yet again!
Alyssa Healy (Australia Women Captain): "I did actually, can confirm but good to be back out there and get the Rose Bowl. I think our depth with both bat and ball. Darcie Brown bowled well in this series, returning to the squad.
Yeah, I mean you look Georgia Voll coming into the team and scoring a 100 making it hard to come back for the side. Everytime we gave someone a chance, they have been ready and this is why you work on domestic cricket.
The fifty she (Ash Gardner) made at the WACA against India, there was a relief on her face. She has carried on that form into the series. Steadied the ship for us and then whack the ball in the death.
(on not taking the gloves and fielding in the outfield) I was way too close for the bowlers, probably confused them way too much (chuckles). But good to be close to the bowlers, to know what they are thinking. An enjoyable experience, good insights of what goes around.
Yeah, we will be with our families for Christmas. We will recharge and then it is a quick series, lots of games coming at us but this group is ready for those sort of challenges. (On upcoming Ashes)
Sophie Devine (New Zealand Women Captain): "Yeah looks 290 was always going to be a tough ask to be honest. We wanted to keep things tight, build up some partnerships and then backing ourselves.
We worked really hard in the training sessions but we well away at the middle. We have looked on the positives which we had done in the World Cup but we fell apart tonight which happens against a quality side like Australia.
Ya look we want to qualify for the World Cup but if we have to play the qualifiers and then we will see what happens.
(On the Run-Out) Well it was my mistake to be honest. My misjudgment and I have said sorry to her. I am not sure if she has accepted it or not but we have to move on.
Ya look it is the first time I have lead a side with just 5 bowlers. A new challenge and hopefully we fightback well in the upcoming games."
Annabel Sutherland (POTS): "Yeah exactly that's probably the best part of it actually. We have a great coaching staff and I feel my game is getting better.
Ah, it depends on the day. My role is to perform every game. Whichever works on the given day to be honest.
It's been really nice to focus on my cricket and I am enjoying my time. Yeah, it is always competitive facing them and I really enjoyed this series."
Player of the Series: Annabel Sutherland
Annabel Sutherland (POTM): "I am just enjoying my cricket at the moment. Nice to play some ODI cricket and have success. A little bit, new day so had to start again. Ashleigh played beautifully to got us to that total in the end.
I think we have spoken about playing to our strengths so yeah, the shot was on. Yeah, I always trying to be in the eye of the skipper.
Their top order played well. The way Darcie came in and bowled really got us back into the game."
