This would be from our end from the final WODI between South Africa Women and England Women, which the tourists won by a margin of 2-1.

As a high-contested series comes to an end, the caravan will get set to travel to Bloemfontein for the one-off Test match between the two teams starting on Sunday

Till then, this is me, Arjun Bhalla, signing off on behalf of Anirudh Modi, Saptak Sanyal and Ashok Dayma. Tata, bye-bye and goodnight!
Heather Knight is now collecting the trophy and she is now calling her teammates to join her for the celebrations. They have been phenomenal in their performance and are the deserving winners of this series. They are now posing for a few photographs now.
Heather Knight (England Women Captain): "I think it was brilliant from the girls after losing a main bowler in the first over. The mentality was brilliant from the team.

The depth is something we have built over time. But we have a lot of options heading into the Tests and before flying to Australia. We have Bell and Filer; hopefully, Kate Cross will come well soon. Charlie (Dean) bowled superbly throughout the series, using the wind to her advantage.

I loved captaining in this series as I had a lot of time to rejig my plans during the course of the game. Test Cricket is also a bit like that. I felt the second game was like that. Looking forward to the one-off Test.
Laura Wolvaardt (South Africa Women Captain): "I think we started well with the bat but came a few runs short at the end. I think 260-270 in the board would've been different for us.

We always have the World cup next year. For that, we try to check combinations. I think any run under light is hard to defend and they had a big partnership. I think we struggled for a partnership in the middle order. Kappi (Marizanne Kapp) was just excellent but I think we need our bowlers with more control.

We have a lot of learnings from this series. Credit goes to England for the way they played. Pretty good turn around. We have a travel day tomorrow and then we will start our red-ball preparations."
Charlie Dean (Player of the Series): "Yeah, I think I have gotten better as much as we have played in this series. I bowled a lot better in this match compared to the earlier matches in this series.

I love bowling here as South Africa provides you with bounce, and I love getting bounce and turn.

I love contributing with the bat. Contributing as an all-rounder to this team is a great opportunity. Loving playing for England."
Player of the Series: Charlie Dean
Tammy Beaumont (Player of the Match): "I saw that it was a good wicket and I just tried to play my shots. When I come up against somebody as good as Marizanne Kapp and Ayabonga Khaka, it becomes competitive. I love playing against them.

I think Amy(Amy Jones) is batting brilliantly in this days in the middle order. She has been outstanding.  Getting runs anytime for England is important. I am waiting for the Test series."
Player of the Match: Tammy Beaumont
Time for the post-match presentations.
