Time to wrap up our coverage as well. We hope you enjoyed the Devine-Mooney carnage at Junction Oval. We'll be back with the second match of today's double-header of WBBL. In the meantime, check out our exclusive World Cup coverage of Australia vs Bangladesh.

It's me Deepak Prakash signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Hitesh Peddurwar and Saptak Sanyal. Shoutout to Yogesh Kumar, who helped us with the scoring duties. CHEERS!
Player of the Match: Sophie Devine
10:54 AM IST, 16:24 Local Time: Absolute carnage from Devine and Mooney here at Junction Oval as the duo chased down 133 runs in just 11.2 overs. The losing streak continues for the Renegades and now they have lost 7 games on the trot.

Earlier, after being invited to bat first, Tammy Beaumont and Hayley Matthews spearheaded the innings for Melbourne Renegades Women, but skipper Matthews failed to impress with the bat and departed for a mere 8 runs off 15 balls. Beaumont and Harmanpreet Kaur started building the partnership, but their partnership was halted by Taneale Peschel, who clean-bowled Beaumont for 24 runs, while Alana King trapped Harman for just 10 runs and put the Renegades in a spot of bother.

The Renegades Women lost a couple of more wickets in quick succession and were struggling at 71/5 in the 13th over, but Georgia Wareham rescued the sinking ship of the Renegades, playing sensibly and scoring at a brisk pace at the cue end of the innings. Wareham remained unbeaten on 57 runs off 46 balls and helped her side post a decent 133/5 in 20 overs. Josephine Dooley played second fiddle in the partnership, remaining unbeaten on 14 runs off 13 balls, and the duo added an unbeaten 62 runs for the sixth wicket, helping her side come out of a dire situation.

Amy Louise Edgar bagged a couple of wickets for Perth Scorchers Women, while Alana King, Taneale Peschel, and Piepa Cleary contributed one wicket.

In pursuit of a paltry 133 runs, Perth Scorchers Women got off to a rollicking start as Sophie Devine and Beth Mooney launched absolute havoc with the bat and pummeled the Renegades Women all around the park. The Devine-Mooney duo chased down 133 runs in just 11.2 overs with 10 wickets in hand.

Devine remained unbeaten on 70 runs off just 36 balls, while Mooney remained unbeaten on 47 runs off 32 balls. This chase will definitely boost the net run rate of the Perth Scorchers Women and now they move to number two on the points table.
11.2 Matthews to S Devine
1 That's it!!!!! Perth Scorchers have chased down the target in 11.2 overs and have won this game by 10 wickets. Short delivery on the off-stump line, Devine hammers it with the flat bat towards the long-on region and collects a single. Scorchers dominated in all three departments today and got rewarded for it!
Devine is in a hurry today. Mooney is batting on 47 runs and it looks like she will miss out on her half-century today. The scores are level now.
