That's it from our coverage of match number 9 from the WBBL. Ninaad DIxit here signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Ayan Chatterjee and scorer/analyst Manish Bishnoi. Stay tuned for more cricket coverage from across the globe.
Georgia Redmayne is the player of the match!
The Renegades finish it off with a boundary but go down by 21 runs in the end against the Brisbane Heat. The Gades won the toss and elected to bowl first and got an early chance to dismiss Grace Harris (65) but the chance went down and the opener added 165 runs for the first wicket alongside Georgia Redmayne (98*) who scored her career best figures in a record breaking partnership for Heat in the WBBL.

Seasoned campaigned Shabnim Ismail picked up the only wicket and bowled the only maiden for the Renegades who allowed the Heat top 3 to plunder 180 runs in their 20 overs. In response, the Renegades were off for a positive start with Hayley Matthews providing them a good start with 35 off 19.

Amelia Kerr was the star with the ball as she picked up a couple of wickets conceding just 27 runs in her four overs. Jess Kerr, Nicola Hancock and Courtney Sippel picked up a wicket apiece with Charli Knott conceding only 10 runs off her couple of overs.

Carly Leeson played some good strokes at the last stage of the Renegades innings but the wickets kept tumbling for the team in red which resulted in failure to get some stability in the innings to chase the big total. At the end, the Renegades fell short by 21 runs and occupy the 4th position in the points table with the Heat going up at number 3.

4 FOUR!  Fuller length here, Leeson uses her feet and lofts it towards wide long-on as the ball races away to the fence. Leeson finishes off with a flourish as the Renegades finish with 159/6 in 20 overs. They fall short in the end by 21 runs. The second win in 3 games for the Heat.

1 Slower ball on the pads, Coyte flicks it away for a single to the short fine leg region.
