It was a close game, Nortje spell lost it for DC today, he bowled very wayward and give away lots of runs, he bowled 2 no balls as well. DC need to take the positives out of this game and come back stronger in the next one. That's it from us, I am Ovaise Shariff signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Ajay Ahire and scorer/analyst Paras Yadav. Do join us for all the action from tomorrow's game between Gujarat Titans and Punjab Kings. Until then it's Good Bye and Good Night.
Quinton de Kock | Player of the Match: "Look It was a matter of just playing what's in front of you, reacting to it. It was a chaseable score. You want a decent start in the powerplay and we didn't want to get too ahead in the chase. Was important to keep wickets in hand. Prithvi did make it look easy, for me I also felt that it was a slow surface. Even with the dew, there was a bit of grip. If we were chasing 180, might have been difficult but thanks to our bowlers."
KL Rahul | LSG Captain: "Obviously, would have loved the bowlers to assess things a bit earlier, but it was nice to see them discuss the lines, lengths and pace to bowl after the powerplay. That was the honest reason actually (on him saying at the toss that he had no idea why he opted to bowl). Can't make up a reason every time. You don't know what to expect from the pitch. We batted well in the powerplay, we are a team comfortable chasing down targets, at the end of the day you have to play well to win matches, the dew slightly helped us, everybody prefers chasing in the tournament because of dew. Every time he has gone into bat Badoni has played well, every single time he has gone in there was lots of pressure.Great learning for him, important for him to keep working hard and stay humble. Been a complete team effort so far. The way everyone has stepped up has been brilliant. "
