That's it from our end of this doubleheader day of the Pakistan Super league. Hope you have enjoyed the action on our network. Do join us for the upcoming matches from all around the globe. For now, this is me Ajay Ahire signing it off along with my co-commentators Arijit Kundu and Anirudh Modi. Until then stay safe and stay cool...
Shaheen Shah Afridi| Lahore Qalandars(winning captain) 'in Hindi': "Trying to play positively. Rashid bowled well, and also Harris. Zaman Kahn is bowling well, he is kiddish and trying to mix everyone for an attacking approach. Trying to take advise from all and try my best. Mistakes happen, touchwood. I know Fakhar can change the game, so the full credit goes to Fakhar Zaman for his sensational knock and may he do the same for Pakistan also."|
Babar Azam(Losing captain): "Definitely started off really well with the bat but needed to finish well. One man show from Fakhar that he had taken the game away from us. Spinners bowled really well and got us in trouble. Need to perform well in both departments in the upcoming matches"
Fakhar Zaman| Player of the match( 'in Hindi'): "Yes absolutely, trying to take one ball at a time. Not trying to do anything extra." Yes, Wasim was gripping the ball, that's why I was looking to maneuver the strike and take it till the end because it's not that hard to get 10-12 runs per over in the end. Yes, Working, few plans are working. Not working on slogging so much, but looking to slog the balls which are in my arc."
Player of the Match: Fakhar Zaman.
Samit Patel (after finishing the match): "A little bit, a little bit of pressure. But I think it was fantastic, the way everyone's going about it, it's good for Lahore. Fakhar Zaman was amazing. That's Fakhar really. He's pretty chilled up at his business. I think that is needed in a big chase. That's brilliant, pretty nice. Oh, you can see that Shaheen is passionate, he's good at his cricket. Whoever is in Pakistan, is passionate about cricket. Thank you so much."
That's it that's the match for the Lahore Qalandars. They have their first win of the season here at National Stadium Karachi. Karachi Kings faced 3rd defeat in all 3 matches they played so far. One man show for the Lahore Qalandars with the bat from Fakhar Zaman. As he scored his maiden PSL hundred and second of his domestic career. He scored 106 runs from 60 balls. Samit Patel Punches in the air with joy and they're all happy as they got off from the bottom position on the points table.

Chasing 171 the Lahore Qalandars lost Abdullah Shafique early in the innings. Mohammad Nabi took a brilliant catch on the edge of the circle to dismissed southpaw. But on the other end, Fakhar Zaman kept the scoreboard ticking. Kamran Ghulam in at number 3 also can't make any impact as he was dismissed by Umaid Asif on the score of 6. The experienced Mohammad Hafeez joined Fakhar Zaman stitched a brilliant partnership in middle overs. But Imad Wasim put out the breaks on Hafees's Innings on the score of 24. Fakhar Zaman departed after scoring his first century in PSL as he scored 106 from 60 balls. In the end, Samit Patel scored 26 runs from 18 balls to steer them over the victory line.

Earlier the batting line-up of Karachi Kings finally found some rhythm as they put on the competitive total of 170. Sharjeel Khan was brilliant at the start along with Babar Azam. Sharjeel Khan scored 69 runs from 40 balls. And he was the pick of the batters for the Kings. As always Rashid Khan delivered another match-winning spell. Skipper Shaheen Shah Afridi was also clinical in his 4 overs spell.
Stay tuned for the presentations...
19.2 L Gregory to S Patel
4 In the air and its all over for the Karachi Kings. Another loss for Babar Azam and his side and Samit Patel finishes things off with a gully cricket shot.  Samit comes a tad down and Gregory dishes a short one. The former manages to sway his bat underneath the bounce and propels the ball down the long off region for a boundary. Lahore Qalandars wins the match by 6 wickets and four balls to spare.
19.1 L Gregory to S Patel
4 Full and angling into the right hander right in near the off peg, and Patel who is cramped away , shimmies a tad and guides it finer of 3rd man for a boundary. How clever was that!! Samit has really managed to maneuver it well at the last moment.
