The captain alongside his young bloke Prabhsimran Singh helped the side get into the semifinal in a hustle-free manner. They shared between a stand of 85 runs. The youngster played the role of the aggressor as he smoked 49 runs off 37 balls, while Mandeep played as the anchor and smoked his handy 35 balls in 33 balls.
Arjun: The Punjab bowlers outclassed the Karnataka's team in the first innings when they bowled out them on a score of 87 runs. All the bowlers chipped in with the bowl. Sandeep, Arshdeep, and Ramandeep took 2 wickets each. While Makande got a wicket and Kaul scalped three. The bowlers made the task for the batsmen easy but the total had to chased down.
Arjun: What a solid and clinical performance by the Punjab side in the first QUARTERFINAL as they get into the SEMIFINAL.
