Zeeshan Malik first rose to prominence in the 2016 Under-19 World Cup, with 225 runs in five innings. A right-handed batsman, Malik is a flamboyant cricketer who is not afraid to play attacking shots.
He made his T20 debut for Rawalpindi in the 2016-17 National T20 Cup and was named in the Rawalpindi squad for the 2016 first class season.
The batter had an underwhelming start to his domestic career, but he improved his game as the time progressed.
In November 2020, Malik was named in Pakistan's provisional 35-man squad for their tour of New Zealand.
The opening batsman also plays for Karachi Kings in the Pakistan Super League.
Zeeshan Malik was one of the brightest prospects in Pakistan cricket post the 2016 Under-19 World Cup. However, Malik has not been able to perform at the highest level and as a result has struggled to break into the Pakistan national setup.
