Soppadhandi Venugopal Yashasri is a talented right-arm pacer representing Hyderabad in Indian domestic cricket.
Due to Yashasri’s height, the coaches at the academy suggested her to take up fast bowling, which has now helped her to make a career out of the game.
According to available stats, Yashasri featured for the Hyderabad team in the Women’s Senior One Day Trophy in March 2021, picking a solitary wicket in two matches.
In the subsequent edition, the skilful pacer scalped seven wickets in five appearances and hogged the limelight. She replaced the injured Hurley Gala in the Indian squad for the U-19 T20 World Cup 2023.
The Hyderbad-cricketer represented the India U-19 team in the bilateral series against South Africa and bagged four wickets in two games. But, then, the right-armer went wicket-less in her solitary appearance against Scotland in T20 U-19 WC.
