32-year-old Robin Peterson is a left-arm spinner from Port Elizabeth. Although primarily a tweaker, over the years Peterson has become a dependable lower-order batsman – he averages in the mid-20s in domestic cricket. He is also an outstanding fielder in the ring.
Bowling his orthodox left-arm spin, Peterson – now in his 16th year in domestic cricket – has mastered the art of stemming the flow of runs in limited-overs cricket. He was signed by the Mumbai Indians at the IPL Player Auction 2012.
