Robin Bist is a consistent performer on the domestic circuit. Short in stature, blessed with good temperament and armed with the right technique to combat pace and spin, Bist played his early cricket in Delhi. He migrated to Rajasthan where he made his first-class debut in 2007-08. In the following season, he scored 415 runs in seven Ranji Trophy matches and was his team’s top run-getter that year.
Last season was the best one of his career so far. He was the top-scorer in the Ranji Trophy with 1331 runs to his name. The Delhi Daredevils signed this talented 24-year-old before IPL 2012.
