Rashid Khan — not to be confused with the Afghan superstar of the same name — has quietly carved out his own place in Nepal’s cricketing setup. Born on 21 February 2001 in Birgunj, Rashid is a right-arm medium-fast bowler who has been part of Nepal’s national system since his teenage years. His rise began early, and by 2019, he had already earned a spot in Nepal’s squad for the South Asian Games, a significant milestone for any young cricketer.

He made his T20I debut on 5 December 2019, stepping onto the international stage against Bhutan. Nepal went on to secure the bronze medal in the tournament, with Rashid gaining valuable exposure at an age when most bowlers are still learning their craft.
