Pratik Shrestha may not be a household name yet, but within Nepal’s domestic cricket circles, he has steadily built a reputation as a dependable young all-rounder. A right-handed middle-order batter and a right-arm off-break bowler, Shrestha has been part of several provincial and franchise setups, most prominently Bagmati Province and now the Kathmandu Gorkhas in the Nepal Premier League (NPL) 2025.
Shrestha first drew attention through age-group and provincial cricket, where his calm batting style and useful off-spin made him a flexible asset. His most notable early achievement came in November 2022, when he produced a superb unbeaten 142 in an Under-19 National Cricket Tournament match — an innings that showcased both patience and maturity, helping his team secure a commanding victory.
Across domestic competitions, he has represented teams such as Rajbiraj The King, Namuna Blasters, and Bagmati Province, earning opportunities for his ability to contribute across multiple roles. While he hasn’t yet broken into Nepal’s senior national setup, he remains among the group of young cricketers looking to refine their game through consistent domestic exposure.
