A right-handed middle-order batter, Nyasha Gwanzuru is a professional women’s cricketer for the Zimbabwe national team. In August 2021, she was named in Zimbabwe’s T20 squad for their three-match series against Thailand.
The 25-year old batter made her debut against Thailand Women on August 30th, 2021 and had a match to forget as she was run-out on just 11 runs in a humiliating defeat.
A couple of months later after making his T20I debut, Gwanzuru was named in Zimbabwe’s T20 squad for their 4-match series against Ireland. With the Zimbabwe women gaining the ODI status in April 2021, she made her ODI debut against Ireland on October 9th, 2021. After being named in Zimbabwe’s squad for their series against Bangladesh, Gwanzuru would be looking to fulfil the given role by the selectors.
