The most experienced Dutch cricketer, Miranda Veringmeier is a high-quality middle-order batter and an occasional wicket-keeper as well. Born in Schiedam, Miranda made her debut 13 years ago when she was just 16 years old.
The 29-year old made her debut against West Indies women on July 2nd, 2008 and was dismissed on just 3 runs. One of the few Dutch cricketers to play the ODI format, she has vast experience and has featured in almost every match for the Netherlands women’s side since her debut.
In 2015, Miranda was named in the rookie squad to be a part of the inaugural Associate Rookie program for the Women’s Big Bash League(WBBL). She rose to prominence in the 2015 English domestic circuit when she finished as the third-highest run-getter in the Women’s County Championship. The 29-year old has heavily played her part in the recent Dutch success and would be hoping to fulfil the same role in the upcoming years.
