Madushika Methtananda, a Sri Lanka cricketer, has made a name for herself in the domestic circuit as a bowler.
The medium-pacer has not played much international cricket as she holds the experience of just a single match at the highest level so far.
Debuting in the third T20I of the 2019 series against England, Methtananda bowled two overs in her spell, giving away 23 runs.
The Wattegama-born has not played a game since then, however, is a part of Sri Lanka's mix, traveling as a reserve with the side on numerous occasions. She was a reserve player in the 2021 Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier and the 2022 Women's Commonwealth Games (CWG) Qualifier.
After missing out on the flight to Birmingham for CWG 2022, Methtananda made a comeback after being included in Sri Lanka's squad for the 2022 Women's Asia Cup.
