A wicket-keeper batter, Lorna Jack is a professional cricketer for Scotland Women’s team. A livewire in the squad, she has a nifty glovework behind the stumps and an aggressive batter.
She has recently spent time in New Zealand playing Club Cricket and has over 90 caps for her country, making her ECB debut in 2007 and International in 2009. Lorna moved to Stirling County CC 5 years ago where she played as the wicket-keeper in both the men’s and women’s teams.
After a good start to her cricketing career, she decides to take some time off to complete her higher studies. She completed her graduation with a BSc (Hons) Sports Coaching degree from the University of the West of Scotland and decided to take the 15/16 winter season out of cricket to travel around the globe.
Her return was sudden but meant she could compete for a place in the squad for the summer season of 2017, and that’s exactly what she did. After returning back, she featured in the 2019 World Cup Qualifier in Sri Lanka, and is ready to embark on her new career.]
